Donate

The Children’s Discovery Museum is a not-for-profit, charitable organization. A donation to the Museum will support many initiatives, including our Access Program which makes the Museum readily accessible to inner city children and families, the development of quality programming for our patrons, and our continued work of providing a place where children learn through play alongside their caregivers.

Research has shown that children’s capacities are not fixed at birth. Rather, the “wiring” of the brain’s neurons depends on the experiences which a child is exposed to throughout infancy and childhood. Knowing this means two things: creating an enriched environment for young children is vital, and resources directed to that end can have a real and lasting impact on the children of our community.

How can I make a donation?

You can make a donation by sending a cheque payable to the Children’s Discovery Museum on the Saskatchewan, and your name, address, phone number and email address to:

Please also indicate if we may include your name on our on-site donor plaque and webpage, and whether or not you would like to receive updates from the Children’s Discovery Museum and information about volunteer opportunities.

You can make a donation using your credit card by visiting the Museum, or by calling our front desk at (306) 683-2555.

Online
You can also donate online by filling out the form below and donating through CanadaHelps, a secure website for donations to Canadian registered charities. You will be asked for your name and address at CanadaHelps as well.

Are you wondering what you will ever do with your accumulating HBC Rewards points? Wonder no further. The Children's Discovery Museum on the Saskatchewan will happily accept your donation of 10 percent up to 100 percent of your HBC points. We can use your donated points to purchase items for the Museum. And it is easy to donate!
