Parties and Rentals

Birthday parties

We are happy to host birthday parties at the Children’s Discovery Museum!

The two hour party includes one hour of playtime in the Museum, and 45 minutes in the party room for cake and presents. The kids can then play for a few more minutes while they are waiting to be picked up.

Cost: $85 for 10 children and 10 adults, and $4 for each additional person.

We have a special promotion on right now: Book your party at the Children’s Discovery Museum and you will receive two child and two adult free admission passes to use on a subsequent visit to the Museum.

Please note that the museum will remain open to the public.

Available time slots are:

• Saturdays: 10-12, 12-2 and 2-4
• Sundays: 12-2 and 2-4
• Weekdays: Flexible

Private Rentals

Would you like to host a party and have the Museum to yourself? Private rentals are $200 for 2 hours, and can be held anytime the museum is closed. Possible times include 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. any day of the week, and Sunday mornings.

For your information

There is no food and drink allowed in the exhibit and activity area, but you are welcome to serve food and drinks in the party room during your 45 minutes time slot for a regular birthday party, or anytime in the party room during a private rental.

We have a fridge and freezer that you may use. Please bring your own plates, utensils, cups, napkins and candles. To help us be environmentally friendly, please consider bringing reusable dishes and cutlery.

There are no shoes allowed in the Museum.

We require a 1:5 adult to child ratio.

A party host will be happy to assist you with anything you need at your party, as well as be responsible for cleaning up.
